My name is Doreen Selby-Smith, I am a duly qualified and authorised Marriage Celebrant.  

Throughout my career I have  accumulated experiences and skills which have led me to this wonderful vocation I now enjoy.  After many years as a journalist and presenter, I have developed strong communication and presentation skills, so you can be sure that your ceremony will be conducted in a professional, but personal way.

Apart from practical skills, I have a wicked sense of humour, but a strong sense of propriety;   a passion for working with people and a high level of understanding and empathy for my clients.

I see life as a wonderful journey enriched by opportunities, challenges and wonderful memories.

As your celebrant, I will listen to you and what you want;  how you see the ceremony unfolding;  the words you would like to include, and those special rituals which have meaning for you.  Then I will work with you and help you put together your ceremony so that it becomes one of those wonderful memories on your life’s journey.
